The World Pro Ski Tour (WPST) will return to the City of Steamboat Springs this January 5-7th, 2023 with two men’s and two women’s races on the same course and with equal prize money.

The WPST brings the world’s fastest professional dual ski racers together each season with Olympians, World Champions, NCAA All-Americans and more. While Steamboat will bring returning Tour Champions Rob Cone and Tuva Norbye to the field, qualifiers are open to all who would like to try their chances in the gates. Registration is open through December 30th at WorldProSkiTour.com.

“The City of Steamboat’s Howelsen Hill is the perfect place for us to start our 2023 season,” says Jon Franklin, CEO of the WPST. “The steep course produces exciting racing for the men and women we have on the Tour and we all love to see the supporters from Steamboat who come out to cheer them on and enjoy the festivities.”

The WPST Howelsen Hill race schedule offers:

January 6th: Pro Qualifiers, City of Steamboat Springs Cup Races (Men & Women)

& Alpine Bank Junior Pro Challenge

January 7th: Moose Barrows’ Trophy Races (Men & Women)

Spectators are welcome to the festival finish area at the base of the course on Howelsen Hill, featuring new and returning sponsors, including: CELSIUS Energy Drink, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, CB Sports, CLCKR Mobile Devices, DNA Vibe, Seiko Prospex time pieces, REVO goggles, Surefoot Ski Boots, Alpine Bank, World Pro Ski Tour gear, and more.
