2025 World Pro Ski Tour Race Season Opening Weekend in Aspen, Colorado
January 9-12, 2025
Welcome to the 2025 winter race season, hosted by the World Pro Ski Tour. Our tour of professional ski races will host 2 venues this season, and once again we will offer Women’s events.
The WPST will host four men’s and four women’s races in 2025. The race format will be dual super slalom or giant slalom, single-elimination, bracket-style competition. Prize money will be $10,000 going to first place. The prize money will be matched for both the men and women’s events.
The first stop will take place in Aspen, Colorado, January 9-12, 2025, at the base of Aspen Mountain next to the Silver Queen gondola. A single super slalom qualification will be held on Friday, January 10. The Super Slalom dual events will follow for both the men and women on Saturday and Sunday.

REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE THURSDAY, JANUARY 2, 2025, at midnight, MST.
This allows our staff and TV production crew time to prepare for the upcoming events. For late entries after January 2, reach out to me directly for approval.
Additional emails will be sent out in the coming weeks with schedules updates, information for the Zoom online meeting, and any new event updates.
WhatsApp
For each race weekend, we will set up a WhatsApp group for athletes and staff. If you are not receiving notifications let us know. We may not have the correct phone number for you. This app will be used all weekend for notifications, updates and any change in the scheduling.
For lodging, we continue to look for discounted lodging. For now, it looks like Airbnb & VRBO, along with a few local condo complexes may be the best options. Lodging in Basalt maybe less expensive.
Athletes’ check-in will be Thursday, January 9. Due to the level of sponsors and VIP’s attending the events in Aspen we would like all athletes to attend the racer meeting in person. If you are unable to attend, you must have a representative take your place. Once registration closes on January 2, we will send out the Zoom call-in information. Let us know if you are unable to attend in person.

ENTRY FEES FOR ASPEN, CO
For 2025 race season “All” athletes racing will be members of the tour at no additional fee.
Membership $0 membership for the season
Entry Fees Men & Women $300 entry for the weekend (2 events)
College Discount* $200 for entry for the weekend (2 events)
*For athletes attending college, you will need to send a photo of your active college ID to be eligible for the college discount. Once received the code will be sent to you, you will need the code before you pay for your entry.
For our online registration, if you have not raced with us this year, you will need to join the tour for these events. For the new members, you must register as a member first, set up a username and password, sign the waiver, complete the bio. The membership registration will ask you to pay, please follow the process the cost will be $0. Once you complete the membership process you will go back and pay the entry. See the details instructions below.

Bios
During registering, please do not skipped filling out the bios. This is important for TV and our announcers throughout the weekend. If you are a new athlete and did not fill out a bio, please go back into the website and complete it. We will also be collection your social media handles to use in our marketing efforts. Please make sure you share those with us.
Icon Passes
For all athletes that have icon passes, if you can use them this weekend that would be great. The prize money will be matched for both the men and women. A complete prize money break down will be available soon.
The Online Registration is a 3-step process. Please make sure to follow all the steps:
When registering as a Tour Member please follow the steps below.
*Athletes attending college, you will need to send a photo of your active college ID to be eligible for the college discount. Once received, the discount code will be sent to you. You will need this code before you pay for your fees.
Step 1. REGISTER AS MEMBER (racer portal) First Time
You must first create a racer account with a username and password at our website using the Member option When you get to the registration page you will be required to fill out a registration form that will provide us your bio information that will used on website, social media and TV appearances. After you submit the registration form you will be required to sign an athlete agreement. After signing the agreement, you will be automatically signed into the website and taken to the race registration page where you can begin the process of registering and paying. You will not be able to pay for races until after you have registered (setting up a username and password).
Step 2. DO NOT FORGET TO GO BACK AND PAY (racer portal)
Register and pay your race fee. After you join as a member, go back to the “Race Registration” page and you will see the price per each race on the race registration page.
Step 3. PRIZE MONEY PAYOUT (via email)
All prize money will be paid through ACH payment services and deposited directly into your bank account. For the 2024 season you must fill out new ACH and tax forms. You must complete these and email them back prior to your first event, at lmnelson@worldproskitour.com. This only has to be done one time for the season. The forms must be completed for any prize money payments to be made. These forms will be emailed to registered athletes racing in Taos in a separate email.

Our TV production company, eef4kproductions.tv is in full swing for the upcoming winter season. They will also produce several television shows throughout the season. The World Pro Ski Tour is working diligently to build and promote the 2025 race season. We will announce any new updates, new sponsor information, schedule changes, and TV production at the athlete meeting.
