WELCOME TO THE WORLD PRO SKI TOUR!

We are happy to announce the 2021-2022 winter season for The World Pro Ski Tour, presented by Rocket Mortgage. The Tour of professional ski races will expand to eleven races this season and includes a Rocket Mortgage Women’s Tour. Our season opener will be held in Granby, Colorado, December 17-19, 2021. We have compiled important information for our online and in person registration process. A schedule of events will be added to the website each weekend we hold events. For the 2021-22 there will be eight men’s events and three women’s events. Each stop on the WPST will host two or three separate races, where athletes will meet on the hill for a dual super slalom, single-elimination, bracket-style competition. First place will take home $10,000!

The WPST is viewed in more than 100 million homes and can be seen in primetime on CBS Sports Network, live on Flolive.tv and via the award-winning docuseries, Life In Between Gates. Our TV production company is in full swing for the upcoming winter season, producing a number of television shows throughout the season.

For our athlete registration, the first steps will include our online racer portal. It will allow you to complete the registration documents and payments online. The online registration must be completed no later than 5:00pm, Friday, evening the day before the first event.

At the venue, on Friday’s as well, all athletes must check-in for bib distribution, lift tickets, along with any other handouts and waivers that need to be completed. Depending on changes with the existing covid guidelines, you may be required to wear a mask and go through a COVID screening at each event.

Online Meeting

The athlete, race staff, and TV production team meeting will follow the racer registration. We will send out the Zoom call information prior to the weekend. An in-person meeting may also take place at the same time, depending on covid restrictions. The location and time to be determined at each event. The Rocket Mortgage Women’s Tour will host three women’s events. These races will be held on Sunday’s. If you can’t attend the in-person registration on Friday’s with the men, we will offer an additional bib pickup which will be determined at each race weekend. For the online racer meetings set for Friday’s, we would like the women racing to log in as well.

The week before each event, an email will be sent out with any schedule changes, information for the online meeting, updates on covid guidelines, and any additional event information.

For our first events in Granby Ranch, we will offer two men’s events. and one women’s event. These Super Slalom events will run on Saturday and Sunday. The events will be Super Slaloms, with a qualifier being held for each day, for each event. while the women will run Sunday. For qualifying, we will qualify 32 unless there are less than 28 registered athletes (per governing rules), then we will quality 16. The prize money will be adjusted accordingly, with $10,000 going to first place. An event schedule will be posted on the website shortly.

Racer Registration

Below is a breakdown of the membership and entry fees. Prior to registering online, if you have any questions, please contact me to avoid any issues with the online registration portal.

Entry Fees for Men: 8 Season Events

Membership – $200 membership for the season
Entry Fees/Members – $125 per event, $250 total per weekend
Non-Member Entry – $150 for entry per event, $300 total per weekend
NCAA Entry – $100 (Must show proof of school) $200 total per weekend (email us to get the discount code for NCAA)

Entry Fees for Women: 3 Season Events

Membership – $75 membership for the season
Entry Fees/Members – $125 per event (1 event per weekend)
Non-Member Entry – $150 for entry (1 event per weekend)
NCAA Entry – $100 (Must show proof of school), (1 event per weekend) (email us to get the discount code for NCAA)

Member Benefits for Men and Women:

  • Customized Race Bib with racers name at each WPST event
  • Discounted Race Entrance Fees
  • Accumulate points for the overall season the Tour Champion Title
  • Accumulate points for the overall season the Rookie of the Year Title
  • Accumulated points from the Speed Run Winner during each qualifying
  • Priority seeding ahead of non-members in each event
  • Ability to vote/sit on the WPST Racer Board
  • 15% commission on any sponsorship brought to WPST

The Online Registration is a 3-step process. Please make sure to follow all the steps:

You will need to choose from the two options when registering; Tour Member or Non-Tour Member, please follow the steps below.

Step 1. REGISTER AS MEMBER OR NON-MEMBER (racer portal) First Time

You must first create a racer account with a username and password at our website using one of the two options below, as a Member or a Non-Member. When you get to the registration page will be required to fill out a registration form that will provide us your bio information that will used on website, social media and TV appearances. After you submit the registration form you will be required to sign an athlete agreement. After signing the agreement, you will be automatically signed into the website and taken to the race registration page where you can begin the process of registering and paying. You will not be able to pay for races until after you have registered (setting up a username and password).

Step 2. DO NOT FORGET TO GO BACK AND PAY (racer portal)

Register and pay your race fee. If you choose to join as a member you will not get member discount pricing until after you have paid the membership fee, pay for your membership first, then go back to the “Race Registration” page and you will see the discounted price per each race on the race registration page, you will be able to pay for multiple races at once.

Step 3. PRIZE MONEY PAYOUT

All prize money will be paid through ACH payment services and deposited directly into your bank account. The ACH and tax forms need to be complete and email them back prior to the events, at lmnelson@worldproskitour.com. This only has to be done one time for the season. The forms must be completed for any prize money payments to be made. If for some reason the ACH will not work a check can be mailed to you within 7 days of the event.
