RANDY PATTISON

Randy Pattison has had a passion for the ski industry his entire life.  This passion has led him to be an entrepreneur in the sport.  He started working in ski shops to support his ski racing career and that led to managing larger stores and ski resorts.  He had a desire to launch his own ski shops, a small ski resort in California and was the co-founder and CEO of Northland Skis.  Today he coaches a nonprofit ski team and is also an assistant director of a ski school.

While volunteering at the World Cup in Vail, CO, Randy decided he wanted more racing. By chance while at the Hall of Fame event in Aspen, he ran into Ed Rogers, Chairman Emeritus of the World Pro Ski Tour. Ed told him to get ahold of Barrett Stein, the race director. When Randy spoke with Barrett, he begged him to let him volunteer in Steamboat in 2019. The rest is history! Randy is now an integral part of our hill crew!
